If you have 10 days to spend in France, please don’t stay all time in Paris !
In fact, a majority of foreign tourists only visit Paris when they come to France. OK Paris is a wonderful and magic city ! But it doesn’t represent my authentic France. So, look at my circuit below to discover our French cities, medieval villages, majestic royal castles, vineyards…
This 10 days France itinerary aims to visit Paris, of course, but not only ! Then it allows to explore other beautiful places of my country.
My France 10 days driving tour doesn’t cover everything that France has to offer but just my favorite tourist places. To have more complete idea of France, it is necessary to spend more time.
But if you have only 10 days to visit France, after this tour, I am sure you will come back to complete and discover other beautiful places (Normandy, Britany, Alsace, Nice…) !
How to visit France in 10 days ?
There are several possibilities to make this 10 days France route : by car, train, train and plane, car and train, car and plane, bus and train…
I will try to propose on this blog some of them. Starting here with the simplest on this post : France 10 days itinerary by car.
Why choose driving to visit France ?
In my opinion, by car is the easiest and most flexible way to visit France.
Indeed, France is a small country that allows to go from site to site in less than 4 hours of road.
In addition, the roads and motorways are well maintained and make it possible to travel by car without difficulty.
And what flexibility to be able to leave on the hour that we want, to stop where we want, to arrive at the hotel at any time… It’s a way to visit freely that allows to save time. Indeed, if you want to spend more time on the sites, you can leave very very early in the morning … and thus save time to visit more things !
