10 days in South of France – Why traveling by car ?
Traveling by car in the South of France is interesting because you can go and stop where you want, when you want, as long as you want. In addition, some parts of the coast are not accessible by train or bus.
On the other hand, if you go in South of France in August, you will inevitably suffer from problems of intense traffic, of slow circulation especially on the most tourist sites.
But even though, a South of France driving tour is the ideal way to visit Provence and the Mediterranean coast of France.

This proposed Provence driving tour of 673 km (418 miles) is just a model that I share to give you an idea and help you build your own itinerary. It can be different depending on traffic, strikes, changes in schedules, deviations…
I integrated in this circuit all the most beautiful sites of the road but maybe you will not have the time to visit all of them… Indeed, if you do not leave very early in the morning, if you stay a long time on the sites … It’s up to you to choose on the spot according to your visiting times, your pace and your desires !
